Minnesota Cabinets is proud to have been recognized by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) at their 2016 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), held in January this year, as one of North America’s top 3 most innovative showrooms of its size. Now that the show is over, its time to vote for the People’s Choice Awards! Voting begins on February 5th and will be open until February 12th. CLICK HERE TO VOTE Last summer, we entered our new showroom in Clive, Iowa into the NKBA’s first ever Innovative Showroom Awards. This new competition recognizes existing kitchen and bath showrooms that are doing a great job creating an unforgettable experience and educating their customers. The Innovative Showroom Awards celebrates the most outstanding kitchen and bath showrooms of the year and we are deeply honored to be named one of the top 3 Most Innovative Showrooms of our size in North America.
Designed by owner Rick Ponstein, the Minnesota Cabinets showroom embodies an open room concept, with full-scale kitchen displays and a great room offering a realistic home experience. It’s equipped with physical samples (cabinets, counters, flooring, furniture, etc.) and large work spaces to plan with designers. With seven smart TVs linked to vendor catalogs, technology is leveraged for access to additional products for customer browsing. There is also easy access to two additional businesses under the same roof: Meghan Blum Interiors (interior design) and The Stone Shop (custom stone fabricator), providing a one-stop-shop of sorts. The showroom also boasts a fully functioning gourmet kitchen and is designed to be a space for community and non-profit organizations to use as an event venue.
