Rebecca Cartwright, of R. Cartwright Design worked to bring forth elements the client's different cultures to the overall aesthetic of the home . Family is very important to them, and Rebecca knew that they would be bringing their families together around their huge kitchen island, their pool, and their indoor gym! The spacious white kitchen has enough room for kids and adults to interact. It is the intersecting point for the main floor. While it is functional, it is also beautiful. Quartz countertops, large format perimeter tiles with a Moroccan shaped splash over the stove. Large metal cone shaped pendants as well as a concealed pantry that hides any clutter.
They asked for formality in certain areas i.e., their living room and powder rooms. An exotic French wallpaper and Moroccan lantern were installed in the powder bath. Antique Asian doors flank the formal living room fireplace. The wall covering repeats the Moroccan shape found in the kitchen back splash.
While warm gray neutrals ground the color palette, spice, rich browns and charcoal round it out.
